Image Composite Advertisement - Movie Poster: "Zeroed"
As part of the Image Post Production course at BCIT, I created a product-based advertisement by compositing multiple original photographs into a single, cohesive visual. This project emphasized advanced photo editing techniques, non-destructive workflows, and high-quality output for professional use.
The process began with selecting and capturing my own images, each of which was individually corrected for exposure, color balance, and detail using Adobe Camera RAW and other non-destructive image processing tools. These assets were then seamlessly composited together in Photoshop using precise, non-destructive layer masks.
To enhance realism and polish, I applied frequency separation techniques for high-end retouching, targeting skin texture, surface details, and tonal blending without compromising image quality. The lighting and dimensionality of the final composition were refined using targeted Dodge & Burn techniques, adding depth and drawing attention to key elements of the product.
The final image was exported to professional specifications and resized to a 7 x 5 inch (or 5 x 7 inch) format, ready for use in print or digital advertising.
This project strengthened my skills in image correction, retouching, and compositing, and demonstrated my ability to produce visually impactful, high-quality marketing assets that align with real-world industry standards.
